Absolutely love what you did with your rental space. It feels so much cozier now! Also, pro design tip: light the wicks of your painted candles (blow them out after like 30 seconds) so even though you don't plan on actually burning them, the scorched wick makes them look more "lived in." I always do this with my decorative candles now!

It turned out so lovely Desi! May I suggest getting a piece of glass for the top of the dresser since it belongs to the landlord and that way plants on top(&watering them) won’t mess up the finish? I just redid my bedroom, guest room and what was a playroom for grand kids that have outgrown it. I painted it pale green and it’s my Zen Den to read, pray, do yoga in. The other rooms I just rearranged, decluttered and changed a bit of decor. What a difference!

So…the painting you put in the brown frame to the left of the mirror (the three women). The artist is Charles Courtney Curran. That is my husbands Great Grandfather and that is his most famous painting. We have many of his original works as well as sketches. It makes my heart happy to see you hang that.
