I'm Irish and drinking is a cultural institution here. It's almost expected that we spend our free time drunk, and be proud of it. I thought that's just normal, but it's complete bullshit. We're walking around either poisoned, or recovering from being poisoned almost every day of the week. Talk about being on the back foot! I quit it about a year ago after being inspired by your episode. My brother and sister have quit too. Now feeling amazing, and ready to attack the day, every day! Thanks for everything you do B!

@@embo8896Like Bedros says, people who need to be in that place, need you to stay there with them. They can't bare to watch someone lift themselves up, while they subsist in conformity. Sober life is actually a lot more fun.

I happened across your channel because I was listening to an audio about shifting mindsets. Man, you hit the nail on the head with the "losing season." Ever since I moved back to my home state, it's been trial after trial after trial. My dad wound up in the hospital after falling off a roof, my car ends up in the shop for a new transmission, and no less than 2 weeks later, I am let go from my job. Thankfully, I picked up a temporary job until I can get into a better paying one, but these trials really test ones' mettle. The thing about these seasons, is that they don't last. If this means anything to anyone, don't give up the fight. Even with the trials we face, life is worth living and living with purpose.

Your channel came up on my feed randomly. I believe God sent this. You are spot on. Thank You. You literally have saved my life. I lost my shit at work, I am an ICU nurse of18 years. PTSD , anxiety, depression from Covid, much death and dealing with a chronically ill spouse, mother in law died, wife is a wreck, my mother is now living with us after my stepfather died traumatically. Mom has dementia. I have a disciplinary sanction on my licence. Employer reported me to the state saying I didn’t report off when I lost my shit told them to fuck off and quit after emergent call from home and they told me I could not leave. I am on food assistance, state insurance and can not find a job in my profession due to sanction. I did not get a lawyer. They were vague on the fact that the ding on my record would hinder me from getting a job. Thought about eating a bullet. Feeling sorry for myself. I realized that is not an option, as it destroys those I love the most and have a responsibility to take care of. After pulling my head out of my ass. I have started working out, quit weed, drinking. I am looking for jobs and devouring positive content to shake off this relentless season of loss from the last 4 years. Mad respect. I needed to hear this. I will succeed. God bless you and your family.

Great video. Since I started watching Bedros a few months back, I've slowed down from drinking every weekend to maybe once a month and in moderation. Even now when drinking I think about the empty calories, how it's going to affect my performance in the gym for the next 2-3 days and my lack of productivity the following day. Most ppl wrk Mon-Fri so loosing Saturday or Sunday to a hungover couch potato day is detrimental to achieving your goals. Ppl say I'm a bit antisocial now but who cares. I'd rather achieve my goals than get sh*t faced on the weekend and wallow all week that I'm not progressing in life.
