Trust from a bird is so hard to earn & keep! Bravo dad. I have 1 parrot & she's my heart. She's with me uncaged 99%of the time. She's a ringneck rescue &laying on her back took forever to accomplish. Can't imagine the dedication this took. 🐥💙

@@ZeeNastee Thank you. I've never had the pleasure of handling a macaw. I personally don't love the idea of breeding them for the pet industry. They are so beautiful & seem happy but a bird that size & intelligence caged is heartbreaking for me to see. I'm lucky enough to live near a great bird sanctuary that is extremely selective with adoptions so they educated me very early in my experience. Hope these young birds stay happy and healthy.

I have one that has lived with me 60 years and I feel guilty I do not spend enough time with her. very demanding and yes loving. but I also support wild birds with several feeders, water and different food. most now recognize me and are not afraid when I replenish their food. every day. they have become so accustomed to me they will land on my head or shoulders when I go outside to greet them. birds are very underrated.

Of course they can. But it depends on the species, large birds only if TRULY safe which happens almost never in the wild. BUT smaller birds are on their back ALL the time. Look videos of love birds, HUGE amount of time on their backs playing they look like cats when they play. This went so far that their biology changed and their hind feathers shortened so they can flip within miliseconds because they lie arround so much...its really really sweet and cute to see. Really watch a view videos you wont regret watching, a love bird play with a pencil...like..ever.

Какое чудо эти Амазоны, как дети, если их вырастить прямо с гнезда. У меня десять карелл, один из птенцов спал в коробочке как в люльке, в постельке на подушечке под одеялом. Не хотел переходить из гнезда к родителям на веточку, когда младший брат уже вышел из гнезда. И где-то с неделю спал около моей кровати в этой люльке, а уже потом перешёл в общую клетку. До сих пор этот милый Гошенька самый ручной и ласковый попугайчик!

I'm not only impressed by the true love and trust these birds share with their owner, but i'm also glad to see that there's a little flock of macaws and not just only or two, like most people own. Macaws are very social birds, like all parrots, and it makes me happy to see, that there are people in the world who give them what they really need.
