Welcome to the first part of our Mysteries of the Third Reich miniseries, in which we'll be focusing on German wonder weapons, their possible connections to the occult and extra-terrestrials and questions about whether a Fourth Reich continues to exist in secret to this day. These will not be released consecutively, but over a number of months in between other subjects. Finally, please don't forget to like and share, as it REALLY helps the channel!

Great video as always guys, but as something of an amateur military historian I must strongly contest your assertion towards the end of the video that given time Germany could have turned the tide of battle. I would argue that even if the technologies you refer to were finalised by 1945, there simply weren’t the resources or manpower in Germany by then to manufacture and operate these weapons on anything like the scale necessary to reverse the fortunes of war. In fact, I would go so far as to say you could argue that these weapons actually hastened Germany’s defeat; they would have been a significant investment in men and material for very little gained. Events such as the V-2 rocket landing on London in reality did little more than further stiffen allied resolve to end the war as swiftly as possible.

The naming of the destroyer that had its magazine detonated as USS Maddox makes me really doubt the entirety of the UFO attack. There have only been three destroyers with that name, 2 of which were in WWII. The first was sunk in like 42 or 43 by a dive bomber and the other survived the war, and was in active service at the claimed date, but it didnt sink. In fact, that USS Maddox went on to be the ship involved in the famous gulf of Tonkin incident. Only one ship at a time can bear a name so it seems very unlikely that the story is true. Plus the USS Casablanca was decommissioned in 1946 and scrapped by 47, so it wouldnt make sense for it to be in active service during Windmill. Regardless, I'm super excited for this series and this video in particular was very interesting! Edit: Finally was able to finish the video after I got off work and it looks like BS covered pretty much everything I said word for word, oops 😅

Admiral Byrd gave a live TV and radio interview in South America, either in Argentina or Chile, where he said on record that he discovered saucer-shaped crafts armed with futuristic weapons flying from one pole to another in minutes, and he also predicted that the next big war will be against this enemy embedded in the South Pole.

I don't understand why you would necessarily become sleep deprived just because of continuous daylight OUTSIDE. Even in a regular house you can draw the curtains, wear a sleep mask, etc. and in a ship the crew sleeping quarters are often windowless little caves anyway.
@Ryan-sf8nf8 ай бұрын
Simple disruption of circadian rhythm. Even astronauts were found to only sleep an average of about 6.5 hours per day, and reported lower general sleep quality. Our biology programs us to sleep when the sun goes down, and wake when it comes back up. Even the slightest disruption to this internal clock can result in signs of sleep deprivation.

@@Coltycolt88 Thank you for confirming that. Pervasive myths just irritate me. And I figured this had to be another one of those, because I've had a few 3rd shift jobs so I've done my share of day sleeping. -That's arguably harder in regular day/night places because when it's "time to be awake" by everyone else's standards, they're making tons of noise with their vehicles, lawnmowers, leafblowers, etc. But I would reckon in Alaska there would be a standard of time like business hours and when it's universally not cool to run the snowblower in your driveway. Am I right?

I'm surprised there wasn't even a mention of the idea of Mars Germans. The story goes something like, the Nazi's made it to Antarctica, where they eventually found a trove of ancient alien relics. Using what they could scavenge they made the flying saucers mentioned here (also the roswell crash is thought to be Nazi in origin to some), but they were visited by some other race who basically told them that if they mined out all these artifacts for 20 years and gave them all to this other race, that after that period they could keep whatever they found AND they'd allow them room inside the moon to establish a base of operations in the mean time ( as the moon is an artificial satellite). After the 20 year contract expired, they decided to make a larger base on Mars where they mostly reside today. Not saying I believe it, but there's multiple "witness" accounts and some who say they've been to mars and worked side by side with the Germans. It's an interesting story at the very least.

You know, I grew up and lived most of my life not being able to comprehend how something like World War II ever happened, how so many people lost their souls to evil ideologies of hate and genocide. The past few years have made me understand in ways I wish I never had. Old evils are rising again in our world. It's like as the last people who remember learning the horrible lessons of that time first-hand pass away and leave us, the entire world simply forgets and gears all the hatred and evil right back up again.

Very well researched. I always love that you will give what would be considered a "rational" explanation as to what truly went on, but here's some food for thought: why are we for the most part NOT allowed to go down there??? In fact I believe you will be arrested!!!! You either need to be on a cruise (which you never make land fall) or you have to have a special permit for wildlife or be a scientist. Also if I remember correctly it's only a small portion of the continent you can visit/see. I did find out that if you are VERY wealthy person or possibly it's just the 1% you can go to a "hotel" and stay a few days. I honestly can't remember how much but most people would NEVER be able to do this and again I'm not sure where this place is but am assuming it's somewhere that is still very restricted. My point is after that long rant lol why the hell is there so much secrecy around what is mostly ice???!!!!

Admiral Kipper no you see “Hekla” is a female name and a female word „Hún Hekla” (“She Hekla.”) Still to this day men can't legally have female names and in the 1940s it wad even more unlikely. Edit: The captains name is more likely to be Helgi as that is a male name.
