In 1997 Barry would have been 50/51 (born 1946) and the twins @46 (born late December 1949). Andy died in 1988. All of their voices were still good. The vocal cords are muscles and they can stay good if they are used like any muscle. Sad that Mo was gone unexpectedly and unnecessarily just 5 years later in early 2003. Robin died in 2012 after a long dreadful fight with cancer.

Alone was from their 1997, 21st album Still Waters. At this time Barry was 51 years old and as you can see in really fine form. You can hear their voices mature from the 60’s to the end of their career in 2003 when Maurice passed away and they just continued to be as fantastic as they aged. Their voices and harmonies were just awesome and beautiful. Try listening to one of their early songs DONT WANNA LIVE INSIDE MYSELF from their 1971 Trafalgar album with a great lead from Barry. ❤❤❤

I adore this song. Eddy Eddy Eddy. You should check out an earlier song. Their 1st hit in Australia. Sticks and Specks. Or! How about Wine and Roses. They were still teenagers. Barry's voice is different. They really changed through the years.
