@@MoMoMyPup10 I first saw the original ELO in the early 1970s, it must have been 72 or 73, and they were incredible then even without the fantastic light show. But bands of that era are still thrilling the crowds and fans old and new with their music. I remember seeing the Rolling Stones in the 1990 at Wembley Stadium, and again, they were great. Telephone Line was originally released by ELO in 1976. Here Jeff Lynne's ELO (re-named, there's a whole band history) played it for their 'Wembley or Bust' performance in 2017. The term 'light orchestra' refers to a smaller orchestra with fewer instruments than a full one. An 'electric' light orchestra also includes electric instruments such as electric guitars.

And I finally got to see them live on Jeff's first tour in 35 years back in 2018. They didn't play my city, but I traveled to another state to see them because I wasn't about to miss them again. That evening was magic. Thankfully that very successful tour lit a fire under Jeff to continue touring. Which he did again about a year later. A much bigger tour (more cities this time around). And I went to that one too. Then COVID hit, or I know he would have toured more. In late 2024, Jeff said goodbye and toured one last time. And of course I went to that as well. It was such a bittersweet evening. I was both happy and sad at the same time. Cheers to you Jeff for the amazing music you gave me all of my life!
