Robin's voice is sublime. It has no explanation in music theory. It is simply divine. Barry is a great singer. There are many great singers. But, Robin's voice is transcendent. I wish he sang more. You could compare Karen Carpenter I suppose - I love them both - but some people might love one but not the other. I am just grateful that such talent has been recorded for posterity.

Robin's voice is wonderful in small doses. If you have him completely sing 3 songs one after the other you would hate it. Sadly two elements that made this group phenomenal are now gone forever and thats very sad. I was seventeen when Saturday night fever came to the drive in movies and it was a massive hit... There music will live on forever.
