It's April 2023, I'm 70 years old and I'm listening to my favorite song. Sung by these handsome brothers with voices of Angels 😇 Guitars only! No special effects, back up singers, fancy lights, dancers or a band! You are truely missed! 💙🎶Bee Gees forever, 🎶💙 R.I.P. Maurice and Robin and younger brother Andy

The 70s music will put you on another planet that no one will understand unless you have a love of the 70s music. You don't need drugs or alcohol to appreciate the best music ever. God....take me back to the 70s and leave me there....I'll be just fine.

I was a soldier in another country when I heard the Bee Gees for the first time. After weeks in the field, we would be back in base for 2 or 3days R+R and our tent (8-10 guys) would fall asleep listening to them on a old recording machine. Always gave us a sense of peace but also the longing for home. Then comes the day of going home. (6/7 months and 15 days leave before another tour of duty) After a night with family and friends, we would go to the record shop and buy the records we loved. Good hard old days. South Africa.

Incredibly soulful vocal, fabulous guitar work, beautiful back-up vocals, accompanying musicians, spot on. But I do have to say, still hard to beat the powerful, versatile voice of Barry Gibb. It's such a beautiful song though that there are numerous covers that are really nice to listen to.

Being born in 1964 I lived through all the disco hits from the Bee Gees on television presented to us in the first play-back music videos. And then there were the movie hits like Saturday night fever of course. Never really paid any attention to it, as I was more into Pink Floyd and Deep Purple. But I'm only now discovering through videos like these what a LIVE-Powerhouse these guys were. They are so musically brilliant in composition and performance. Another video that demonstrates how brilliant they are live is "Night on Broadway" in The midnight special 1975.

Persevered ....the best way to put it. I’m doing same with painting and I only just started to get to it every day after a 20 year stop. I did everything so slowly too! I even wrote every day “I love to draw”. Over and over then changed it a few times and finally I had the guts to write “I am an artist”. I figure if I paint every day ( if possible) I’ll get to a place I feel it’s good enough. When I quit caring if it was good is when it became a pleasure rather than a journey into frustration and demoralizing failure! Ha ha. Keep at it! Stay the course! I will too!

And the industry now takes talentless hacks, identified by probable audience and then auto-tunes them into sounding like 1970's Cylons, or they get some pouty dreg to wine into a microphone, then they slap each other on the back and call it music, sampling the riffs from yesteryear. No actual musicians involved.
