I am from Croatia. when I was little, I often went with my dad on various sports trips and this song was always playing in the car and he sang it at the top of his lungs, regardless of the fact that he was not a good singer. last year, after more than 25 years, my dad and I sang and cried together to this song as I held his hand while he was dying of cancer. when I hear this song, tears start every time and always will.

My dad would break down whenever this 1967 song is played as i was growing up as a kid, for he was going through the most devastating heartbreak but this hit was his Savior. It was one only song with Don't forget to remember me when I had my first heartbreak in 1976-1980. Wow they have a 6 Decades of ministering to Souls devastated by Heartbreak since their formation of 1958. The Multi-Million or Billion people owe their life to the healing their hits have to their shattered decimated heart to smithereens by broken-heart but they were the God Divine Healer as an Anti-Venom and Anti-Dote to their Tragedy of Tragic Heartbreak. The Bee Gees songs were part of my dads 1950s-1970s collections for they were part of his 1900s-1980s songs collections that were Anti-Venom & Anti-Dote to his Heartbreaks in 1944, 1950, 1959, 1966 & 1973. So he taught me that Love songs both gospel and secular are God Divine cure to all Heartbreaks and never believe in the hypocrisy by most Christians that secular love songs are evil. He was a former Choir Conductor for the Fiji School of Medicine Methodist Chapel of Doctors & Nurses both working and studying between 1953-1960. So I was blessed to believe in it for it cured my Heartbreak in 1976-7, 1980, 1987, 1994, 2008, 2010, 2015, 2018 till today especially with this 1977 hit, the year Elvis died also one of my best solo artist. Love and Thanks to all the worlds groups and artists for their God given talent in giving us Heartbroken individuals of the world from 1900s till end of the earth, if not for them we would have died from its death bites but their hits were our savior and healer, especially Bee Gees hits whom I have witnessed as it healed my dad's broken-heart and later on mine as well. I am always a One Woman Man till death and that is my uniqueness but also my vulnerability, but would never exchange it with nothing still Love and Thanks from your coconut crazy fan from the Edges of the Sand Dunes of Fiji.

This show was three decades after the single was originally released, yet the Bee Gees' voice never failed them. This song is not just soulful, it's pure poetry too. Still to this day, I can never figure out why it only got to #41 on the UK Charts back in the late Sixties. Nevertheless, this song will last forever as so many can relate to its universal themes. The Bee Gees knew how to capture emotion in a song and turn it into gold. The Bee Gees were musical geniuses and musical poets, as evidenced in this Sixties classic song. Thank you, Maurice, Robin and Barry.

There's a light A certain kind of light That never shone on me I want my life to be lived with you Lived with you There's a way everybody say To do each and every little thing But what does it bring If I ain't got you, ain't got? You don't know what it's like, baby You don't know what it's like To love somebody To love somebody The way I love you In my brain I see your face again I know my frame of mind You ain't got to be so blind And I'm blind, so, so, so blind I'm a man Can't you see what I am? I live and I breathe for you But what good does it do If I ain't got you, ain't got? You don't know what it's like, baby You don't know what it's like To love somebody To love somebody The way I love you You don't know what it's like, baby You don't know what it's like To love somebody To love somebody The way I love you You don't know what it's like, baby You don't know what it's like To love somebody

I remember when I was 8 years old, my dad listen to bee gees day and night and even bought a 5 feet karaoke just to sing their songs. Every time he travels, he always plays this concert, and bought a blue ray dvd because he loves the bee gees so much. And now Im already 20, my dad passed away last october 2016, and every time I play or see a bee gees song in my recommendation, I always drop a tear in my eye and I always get a feeling that he is just singing their songs right next to me. I love you daddy.

We are not the cheesy type of couple at home 😂

send this video to her in private chat. Trust me, she will appreciate it. (I'm also not the cheesy girl type [never been the girl who like pink, or into princess/disney fairy tales; not enjoying soap operas / other corny shows; not expecting my man to be conventionally romantic ]), but you know what, deep down every woman needs some "cheese" in her life (just like every man has some built-in "cheese" deep inside them, no matter how tough their exterior are). Especially, when it came from the heart. The worst you can get is some playful teasing. But it's always good to be honest. Especially, when it comes to the feelings to your dearest ones (spouse or parents figure)

My neighbor was playing the reggae version of this song and although I did not hear the lyrics clearly at first, I immediately recognized the melody and sang to it. Thank you, BeeGees for writing some of the most beautiful, deepest, and most relatable songs in history.

My favorite band of all time. I listen to them when I'm on top of the world. But I listen to them on those days that I'm struggling also. How grateful millions of us are. These three brothers got together as kids to sing.

I want them back on the radio. I miss exceptional music. They make you feel good just by listening. We should call radio stations and request them. Especially 'Staying Alive". That song saves lives. Research it. They're using it to teach people CPR. .

They were the only ones who got close to Elvis and the Beatles in number one hits. And they outlasted them all in longevity, still being on top as a group for over 20 yrs.
