When a band such as the REO BROTHERS get locked onto playing -they do not need to look at each other while playing - they let their ears tell them where they all are in timing. These BROTHERS do make it look easier than it actually is. That being said - they have all done their homework on the ORIGINAL artist performance - and when a band is on , as is said in times past , the same wavelength, their is nothing they cannot play. Another GREAT PERFORMANCE by the REO BROTHERS. 😊✌️✌️

My dear foreign brothers...let it be known that this band informally, could be one of the best to cover any band, any era....just search for all their YT performances and judge for yourself. One of the Philippines best, and Im sure of the world. Please help them further their recognition internationally. They are such humble but super talented guys. They don’t have to look at each other when playing/ performing because they are ALL LOCKED ON to what they are playing and they are letting their ears tell them where they are in their timing. They do indeed make it look easier than it actually is - BUT - when a band ALL get on the same page OR , an old saying , the same wavelength, the sky is the limit , REALLY , nothing they could not play.

Thanks guys. Your review was top notch and awesome. As a Filipino in Manila, I feel proud that we have the REO Brothers to inspire us humans to do whatever it takes to be the best at what we all do. You should know their history, as they come from Tacloban City, which was hit the hardest by the worst storm ever to hit the planet, called Haiyan, or what we Pinoys call Yolanda. They somehow survived and went to Manila to rise up from the ashes. August 6, 2020, we are still in a Pandemic and could learn from these guys, that no matter what, we will survive and make it through. Religion aside, we could all use a stronger faith in the Almighty, together with doing what we need to do to survive and win!

I'm a bit younger than you guys (I was 6 at the height of "Disco Sucks") but I've always thought there were some really killer songs and playing in that genre. The late Rutger Gunnarsson played some seriously underrated bass on all of the ABBA hits, and there was Nile Rodgers and his "billion dollar Strat", and so on. Sure, the record companies did what they always do and flooded stores with low-effort knockoffs, but the big disco stars were legit. Proving they take no sides, REO Brothers recently did a cover of one of the songs credited with killing disco, "My Sharona". And it's amazing.

Used to be a DJ during this era. My disco ball was silver though LOL. Went to try out. Go to the guys house. He looked at my car (Mercury Mystique) and said see if you can fit the equipment in your car. You bet I did! After getting it all in I go back in to be interviewed, and he goes did it fit? I said Yep! He looks at me and says good you play here tonight! I only weighed 98 lbs. He told me he didn't think I could lift the equipment let alone get it all in the car! I told him never unde restimate a Vietnam era WAC. So these boys are amazing!. And look at all the modern equipment they DON"T have. Thats what doubles their being able to do this music so well.
