I cannot tell you how happy it makes me; born in the 50's to see your generation enjoy all the great music that we live, dance to, and take for granted. We had so much fun and happiness, it was a great time to be alive. thanks for the joy!

Also if you would like to see a movie that features this song there's at least one movie I know of and it's called Short circuit. It was made sometime in the eighties I think as I remember seeing my children watch it

This song is even better when you watch Tony and Stephanie's last dance in the dance competition in "Saturday Night Fever". Still sounds sublime 40 years later.

Hey Ashley, this is what we call the "Disco" side of the Bee Gees and yes it was a very popular track at the skating rinks too!!!
@Zlata1313 Жыл бұрын
FYI they HATED the word disco and the backlash against them for being associated with it. They called their music contemporary r&b and blue eyed soul. They said they never wrote disco music.
@crsounddoctor4937 Жыл бұрын
TRUE FACTS!!! That is why I said this was the "disco" side of the Bee Gees, because they were much more than that before & after the disco era, they were not a "disco only" musical group!!! @spudjohnsonn8122

I don't know if you know the story - it's from way back in my time. The Bee Gee's - if they didn't actually invent Disco, they were at least instrumental in it's inception. It all started with the tune Jive Talkin'. Look up the story sometime. It's entertaining if nothing else.
