Nothing will ever be like the decade; squeezed between the turbulent 60's and start of the greedy fast paced me, me me 80's was a slow, sweet, magical decade filled with the most amazing music from pop to disco to timeless Southern rock. When weed was always organic and a nickel bag was 5 bucks, keg parties, star wars, Farrah hairstyle, A Star Is Born, roller skating, manners and respect to our elders, bike riding, muscle cars, letter jackets, ahhh.....sweet, sweet memories. My heaven is being forever in the 70's. If you missed it, you'll never understand it's magic.

There aren’t many songs that manage to be simultaneously relaxing and energetic. It’s a really strange mix but it puts you in a cool headspace and it makes this track a real stand out in The Bee Gees catalog. Big Empty by Stone Temple Pilots creates a similar emotion for me but it comes from a *totally* different direction.

Years ago I had a co worker... a 6'4 400lb black dude named Tony who was a metal head.... we called him heavy metal. We would laugh alot and even went down to new Orleans together. This song came on and he told me he never liked the bee gees but he really liked this song bcz of the killer bassline. Although I appreciated that he liked this one, I remember never quite looking at him the same again. Shortly after that was the last time i would see him. Heavy would die just after the calendar flipped to 2000. I miss our laughs.
