I was barely in my early 20s, stationed at Plattsburgh AFB. Sadly Mothers closed, & the base closed. I would luv to get out on the dance 💃floor and disco some more.

There aren’t many songs that manage to be simultaneously relaxing and energetic. It’s a really strange mix but it puts you in a cool headspace and it makes this track a real stand out in The Bee Gees catalog. Big Empty by Stone Temple Pilots creates a similar emotion for me but it comes from a *totally* different direction.

Really really really makes me sad that they are all deceased except beautiful Barry. Died way too soon. They were so unique and brought joy to millions. There is a great interview with Barry Gibb here on KZbin where he talks about them. Heart crushing.

My parents bought the Beegees Greatest Hits in 01' at Best Buy back in the day. I remember we listened to the entire album on the way home -- I'll never forget the goosebumps as a young kid all over -- my first time hearing music that I really enjoyed. I'll be banging this until I die.
