You and a lady named Ellen Montgomery and I believe another lady got into a somewhat heated exchange that sounds like you all knew/know them. Just curious. If you knew them, what was that like?

Michelle Crippen No, I didn’t know them personally, I’ve only been a fan since 71. I’ve followed them for most of my life. I’ve seen them in concert numerous times, have been to their studio, have their music, had their posters, lunch boxes... you know how it goes. I’ve gone by their homes in Miami and England. I’ve checked out Rob’s home in England before he died and went by his grave. I’ve seen their childhood home on the IOM and in Australia. But again, just a fan. So many of these interviews I had on VHS, years before YT. I’m what you call an old time hard core fan. I’m not that teenage sycophant type of fan that looks at the pretty pictures and fawns over their little smiles and eyes. I don’t have favorites, who can never see the faults of their hearts desire. Although it’s no secret, I have been drawn to Rob’s music and his voice, but I am a Bee Gee fan and realize that they all contributed, not just Baz, Rob, or Mo. I’m aware of Ellen. She is a very new fan, and she is a fan of Robin. She looks at the pretty pictures and loves to read all the nice comments re: Rob. Matter of fact I schooled her on many things regarding the Bee Gees, when she first discovered the Bee Gees and YT. I’m not sure which video you’re speaking on where you stated that I got into something with someone. To be honest, I tend not to get involved with these YT so called Bee Gee fans. Many of them are clueless and speak what they think they know. More often than not it’s their own emotions projected onto one of the brothers. And they never talk about the music. Their focus is on their looks and what Baz did to Rob, or vice versa. This stuff has been talked about for decades, it’s old news, but I guess it’s new news to them. Older fans will comment but we tend to sort of laugh it off. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been in some serious discussions with Bee Gee fans but this was years ago, and it wasn’t on YT.

kitty larue Thank you for responding. It must have been wonderful seeing their homes and studio. I’ve been a gain since 1975 when Main Course came out and then got into the earlier music. Then Fever exploded!! I was not fortunate enough to see them in concert but so wish I’d been able to. Yes, they all were lookers but the music is what pulled me in. I couldn’t pick a favorite if I had to because I, like you, think they all brought something different. I’ve watched so many videos on here now I can’t remember which video the three of you were going back and forth about but it wasn’t over the top lol Again, thank you for responding!!
