Someone made a comment that every time you hear a Bee Gees song it becomes your favorite until every Bee Gees song becomes your favorite. That’s how I feel, every Bee Gees song I’m listening to at the moment is my favorite. I don’t think there are any other artists that make me feel this way. ❤❤❤

The Bee Gees, Mo's cool burgundy fedora, a classic E-type Jag, Robin's amazing ad libs and long blond hair, great beat and shared vocals. What more could a fan want? Try Mr Wallor's Wailing Wall, an early lark, for a bit of fun. They made some silly songs just for the he!! of it. The video for "The woman in you" is fun. They all play roles.

I haven't been commenting on the Bee Gees reactions sofar. But it isn't because they aren't good, I just don't know much about them. So thanks for exposing me to some great music I haven't heard much of before.

Established in 1958 but started performing when Barry (oldest, long hair and beard) was 9 and his twin brothers Robin (no beard) and Maurice were 6. Mom discovered them singing in perfect three part harmony. They write all their own songs and have written for many top artists and hundreds have recorded their songs. Their song catalog is close to 3,000 which I had no idea until I ran across an interview I hadn't seen. Stayin Alive is the song most people have heard before. It's been used over 250 times in movies, cartoons, commercials etc. You may recognize a couple of other songs they've written like Grease. For the movie Grease. Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton Islands In The Stream. You Should Be Dancing. In 1958 their brother Andy Gibb was born. The brothers were so much older and well into their career so Andy started a solo career. He's a quite amazing too. His first three releases went to number one. Check him out on the Midnight Special performing I Just Wanna Be Your Everything. The beginning of 1988 they announced Andy would be joining the Bee Gees as the fourth member but tragically he died a few months later five days after his 30th birthday. The BeeGees shot to huge superstar status with their songs on the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack. Between all four brothers there are forty albums and now their children are making albums together. Over five decades of masterpiece after masterpiece. Only group I can say I have 151 favorite songs. I love all the others that didn't make the list. It's crazy but they're broken heart songs will make you happy. You just can't help it. Too Much Heaven is one of their absolute greatest. Oh the harmonies.
