Love them all, but I’ve always been partial to Robin not sure why. Maybe the quirky dancing the vulnerability in his voice and mannerism's. He always seemed so fragile in his demeanor. Also extremely well spoken and intelligent. Bee Gees fan for life ❤️

Under this video, a Robin fan wrote that Barry was a bad example to his siblings because he carried a ring in his pocket when he was young. So Barry was guilty of Robin's vices. I wonder how their minds work. I try not to get angry, but when I read these, I go crazy. Because they're trying to convince people who barely know Barry.

I apologize as I've already made one comment. Maybe it's a result of aging but these videos awaken poignant memories. On one hand I celebrate the blessing of having lived my life alongside such wonderful artists like the Bee Gees. On the other hand there is sorrow knowing all the brothers have passed far too young with the exception of Barry. Thank goodness we still have our wonderful Barry. Their music brings such joy and stirs such emotion. I honestly prefer watching them perform live over the audio. Each of guys are amazing and easy on the eyes! Lol.

@@lin_mrachek Around 2003/2004 after Maurice's death. In the 1989 Australia Tour he still looked handsome & healthy, with good hair. But in the 1990s he started losing hair and I believe his health deteriorated too. In the 1997 Alone Tour he sported short hair with a large bald patch. He went on like that for a few years, but soon the loss was such that he had to do something about it, IMO.

I miss these 3 guys very much. Very rarely did they ever put out anything that wasn't brilliantly crafted and executed. Through every stage/decade, they were amazing. Most TV programs in the 70s and 80s had acts miming and usually the performers had no say in the matter(eg UK Top of the Pops). There are lots of clips of the Bee Gees miming. Robin is usually the give away as he is terrible at miming, he looks far too happy and waving his arms about compared to real singing where he looks more intense, often grabs the microphone stand and the vein is his neck usually sticks out.

Yeah, tv variety shows were scripted to the last second and surprises were problems to be avoided at all costs. A lot of time more than one act was scheduled and there was no time or room for them to set up their own equipment. A live version might go on longer than the recorded version or worse a performer might sing an unexpected offensive lyric. Acts had no choice about it if they wanted the promotion and they did. The Bee Gees could have sung live better than most but unless "live" was specified like on the Midnight Special clips, it was lip sync.

Recorded in September 1972 at The Record Plant, Los Angeles. The first Bee Gees recording session outside of London. First track from the album Life In A Tin Can, first album bearing Robert Stigwood's RSO label. The studio recording has Mo playing bass thru an electric piano, the great session drummer Jim Keltner played on all tracks, and Alan Kendall, seen in this video, plays acoustic guitar with Mo and Barry.
