Maybe in the US but not in the UK. This was a UK number 1, For Whom the Bells Toll got to number 4, Secret Love and Immortality were top 10 and This is Where I Came in was top 20.

This is one of my favorite Bee Gees songs. It was a huge hit in Europe but didn't do well here in the US, only reaching #75 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 1987. It went to #1 in England and held that position for 4 weeks.

@PhiliminizzyReacts The stomps at the beginning was Maurice’s idea. The record company wanted them off and The Bee Gees said NO, they stay…and this song is easily recognizable time it starts based on the stomps! Barry came up with the melody and song in the middle of the night and had to run around his house looking for a tape recorder to get the melody recorded because he said if he had gone back to bed the melody would disappear so he have to capture the ideas from his head no matter what time of day or night they come to him! 🤣 It was #1 all over Europe but America didn’t really give it much play cause they still had that disco backlash going against The Bee Gees in the 80’s. Do some of their younger brother’s (Andy Gibb) hits. Barry wrote, cowrite, produced Andy so he really was a guiding hand in his career. Some of his songs are: Shadow Dancing (written by all 4 brothers) I Just Want to Be Your Everything & Everlasting Love (both written by Barry) Another song I like is from the movie GREASE, that Frankie Valli sings. It was also written & produced by Barry. Emotions (Samantha Sang) was (written by Barry & Robin), with Barry producing & singing background. Just a few….

Sorry but me again ... I didn't see "This Is Where I Came In" by Bee Gees --- it's a great tune AND you should use the music video should you choose to react/review as it shows very playful side of all 3 brothers (and we still great great lyrics/music).
