Thanks for returning to VoicePlay. This is a wonderful cover. Mykal was an original member years before they renamed themselves VoicePlay. Layne and Geoff sang with him in middle/high school too. Mykal left after a few years for a successful career on Broadway. Since that time, he was in their "Just Sing" video made for charity during the pandemic shutdown and then in September 2024 their cover of "Be Prepared" from The Lion King. So fitting that in this video, they are literally standing beside each other. They say they sang this back in their very early years when Mykal was part of the group.

Mykal is very talented bu as soon as we heard Geoff come in as the bass guitar it set a tune for the the rest of the number.
