This is a perfect song (from "ESP" not "One"). Every piece of the construction is a masterpiece. Mo's stomps are legendary. I picture him in his garage getting these just right. Robin's ad libs are perfect and pierce through like a laser. Barry's gorgeous delivery is a force of nature. Thank goodness he woke up with a little snippet of melody in his head one night, and thank goodness he found that cassette tape to get it down.

This track was first released on "E.S.P.", their 17th studio album, in 1987. It's also one of the songs on "ONE", the album they dedicated to their late baby brother Andy, which was released in April, 1989. THANKS for this lovely treat, Chad!💕

This song came to Barry in a dream in the middle of the night. He kept a tape recorder in his night table and quickly grabbed it to sing the melody because he knew he would forget it by morning. The next day he got together with his brothers and this song was born. It went to number one in England, but not in the United States. By this time, the disco backlash was still in full swing, and the brothers suffered as did we all because this, in my opinion, is one of the best songs put out by The Bee Gees. They were such creative geniuses. I truly miss them, but they live on in their words and music. I highly recommend checking out “The Midnight Specials” they hosted in the early 1970’s on KZbin. Unbelievable harmonies.

Some of you may know that I've been following this channel for a very long time. I think it's been about 4 years. I just felt like watching your video from 2020 in which you discuss "Too much Heaven". It seems that this was your first encounter with the music of the Bee Gees. The way you reacted was just outstanding. You were speechless and I don't think that happens so often with you.🙂 For me, this video was one of the best - no, the BEST. To all those who have not been around for so long I Highly recommend watching this video. It is simply "heavenly" and hilarious. Thank you Chad for all your great reactions. which I am always looking forward to. Take care, Chad and all community fans

It's still disturbing to think how radio programmers just refused to give this song a chance in the U.S., yet just 2 years later they were back in the Top 10 with "One". Barry looked great on the Christmas 1987 show with shorter hair. Interesting note: Warner Bros records included "You Win Again" on U.S. copies of the 'One' album and re-released it as a radio only single in 1989 which is probably why they were promoting it on Arsenio Hall.

This song did great in Europe but still received very little airplay in the US due to the disco backlash. A shame! #1 in the UK but only #75 in the US. They were treated abysmally. Could be a hit today. In the grocery store yesterday I heard a cover of "More than a Woman" by some boy band. People are finally cluing in how terrific they were thanks to reactors like you. OBSCURE material? Love it. Some of their quirky stuff was fun when they were young. Mr Wallor. Craise Finton Kirk, Little band of Gold in Oz. Along the lines of Lemons never forget.

I love this song so much! Every performance of it is absolutely amazing, even without the studio recording playing while they perform it! You're right. It's hard to stay still with this song playing. I love how much the bros, especially Barry, were into the song every time. I loved seeing Robin rocking back and forth and, especially, Barry shaking his hips throughout the entire song in the first performance! Barry was absolutely 🔥 in it! That's my favorite performance of that song; I love it so much! I love that Andy was at the concert (or whatever it was) in the second video and that he said he was there to watch his bros perform. This song is on their album, “One”, but it's, actually, from their album, “E.S.P.”. It was a pleasant surprise to see that you uploaded a video this past weekend, as I didn't expect you to with it being Mother's Day and all. Thanks for, yet, another great marathon! I look forward to the next one and am excited to see which obscure Bee Gees songs you react to!

Hello, Chad. Great to connect again. This song by The Bee Gees was a huge favorite of Princess Diana. They sang it at a concert for the Royals. She enjoyed it immensely. In the first video from the Dutch television show, the boys were a part of counting down the recent hits with the host before they sang. When they read Michael Jackson and his song, the host called Michael “wacko Jacko.” Barry quickly in his polite way rebuked the host. Of course the host backtracked pitifully. The very last video is part of an audience interaction recording for tv. Their mother was there along with other family members. Many in the audience were dancers who were a part of the Saturday Night Fever Broadway musical in the UK. It’s a great concert to watch in its entirety. They end with a guest boy band that was very popular in the UK and who had recorded one of the Bee Gees’ songs. All in all, good stuff! Keep it going, Chad!

Thanks Chad, I enjoyed your reaction as always. The track came from their E.S.P. album. Their album One was the follow up album to this one. The first video, I saw live when it aired here on Dutch television. At that time I did enjoy this song, but was not a Bee Gees fan. That happened between then and the 'One' album. But I still remember seeing this video on television. 'Count Down' was a really popular music show. Adam Curry hosted it at the time if I am not mistaken. After a few years Adam moved to the US and did quite well there. Don't know if you have ever heard of him. Anyway, thanks for the reaction and bringing back memories. Cheers!

Love, love this song. I thought the second one was slightly slower than the first. Am i wrong? The London concert in 1998 was held at the ITV studios (tv channel) and the audience was made up of celebrities and some public (i think). They sang and talked and the audience danced and were so appreciative. Love seeing Barry and Linda's daughter Ali and i also caught a glimpse of Stigwood. Haven't watched this concert for ages. I definately will now. Ive always loved the 'stomp' in this song and it was fab to see the boys at different stages. Love Robin's 80s fashions. Love Barry's wiggling hips. Love Maurice's.......everything!. Thanks Chad. Great choice xx

@gracepeynado6607 I really have to agree with you about not giving Mo fair face time. I realize that Barry and Rob had most of the leads but even when Mo did have lead or even when he was singing in harmony with his brothers, so many times they would show a quick glimpse of him or a shared shot with one or both brothers in the shot and many times with him furthest away and I can even remember some shows where they never even showed him but instead did those girl backup singers that they used toward the end and also the band behind the guys. They would zoom in on 1 or 2 and stay on them but not show Mo at all. Frustrating and infuriating.
