After traveling with bees for about 2 months, I finally found 2 brave Souls in Bombay Beach , CA, who were willing to help me to re-home the Bee Colony that moved into an outer storage compartment of my DIY Tiny House "Misty" during my stay in the Anza Borrego Desert.
I was hoping to find a local bee keeper who would be interested in rehoming the bees, but had no luck.
People told me that they were most likely Africanized Bees and I should either spray them or get Pest Control involved.
Africanized Honey Bees are know to be mover aggressive if disturbed and attack in large numbers. They are slightly smaller in size, and have a darker brownish color in comparison to the European Honey Bees.
I did not find my bees to be very aggressive, and did not want to kill them. So they travelled with us until I found help.
In this video you will see the removal of the bees as we tried to re-home them under the advice of a person experienced in handling bees.
