Victor RC-1000 Radio Cassette from 1970's Restoration (Cleaning & Belt Replacement)

This is old Victor RC-1000 Radio cassette. It requires cleaning and replacing the cam belts after more than 40 years of operation.

Quite unusual - a vertical scroll radio tuning scale, the tweeter horn in the middle of the full-range speaker, and the cassette mechanism had 2 flywheels = higher end models might have had auto-reverse play/record and a luxurious external leather case. But you didn’t demonstrate tuning the radio after repairing/cleaning it, the small red button to the far left - for turning/meter light, indicating battery charge on the analog meter...: many other functions that you didn’t check if they worked or demonstrate to us ☹️

Radio is good. Transmitter is means a low-power FM radio transmitter that broadcasts signal to other FM system.This feature is untested and I cannot verify it works.

@@BeeBetu Very interesting. It must've being for use as a broadcast transmitter at a particular event,,,such as a agricultural show event,,,etc. It means anyone that has an fm receiver can tune into the particular station being transmitted from the radio cassette recorder.
