To be honest , I'll give MI some credit if not much. Yes, OP still is a better choice overall for most users however to get most things right on their flagship is still a good effort. Honestly, if the price were equal ,The MI 10 is a good buy. I'll not say great as even the OP 8 isn't as value for money as earlier OP devices used to be. Although ,in the same bracket OP without any hardware edge has just Oxygen OS benefit over the MI 10. For real purists ,that is enough to go for the MI 10 as Android flexibility makes far more customisations over the Oxygen OS if the hardware supports it. For the rest of the users who don't flash ,OP 8 could be easily settled with for the lesser hardware & a more refined software. Frankly, though . MI needs to understand that their software in that price range is just not refined & appealing enough. Its alright for a Poco F1 which was half the price of an OP device when it launched. At the same price tags, the whole dynamics changes...

Other than the SD865 with the 5G Modem and a somewhat better screen and UFS 3.0 vs 2.1 on the Samsung, for an average user it's gonna be tough call. Also, the s10 lite has a better camera when compared to the OP8 and not forgetting the sd card slot that makes moving data much easier. So I believe it's more of a personal choice.

I don't understand why tech reviewers are so biased about Oxygen OS. I've used both and I feel both are equally good. Although, MIUI has way more features and more customizable. I prefer MIUI (without ads) anyday over Oxygen OS.

I think mi 10 is my better choice...this like mi 10 added new features like wireless charging,108 primary sensor I like this features, 90Hz refresh rate and also price completely low as compared to OnePlus 8....so my opinion mi 10 is better option to buy this phone...so what is your opinion ??...

I just recently switch from Samsung to Oneplus. Oxygen OS is so clean and sexy AF. Although, what I don't like about Oneplus 8 is the curved screen, absent headphone jack, and mediocre camera. Overall, the phone has great performance. It feels light but feels premium.

If you can really afford op8 pro..go with that..you are getting true flagship..if you think op8 pro features are not for you..go with 7t pro..if you don't like these op8 pro and op7t pro..then only go with op8
