Beech and Sugar Mountains - November 2022 - Day 5

Skiing at Beech and Sugar Mountains Day 6 of my 2022 - 2023 Ski season. Apologies for the wind noise I did my best to cover it with some music. Working on my editing skills.

Thank you for watching. Sugar Mountain is just another 20 or so minutes down the road. I did day skiing at Beech Mountain and Night Skiing at Sugar on the same day. The next day I did day skiing at Sugar Mountain. At the time of filming Beech was not doing night skiing. Beech Mountain does offer night skiing. Both are worth a visit. I am glad this video helped. 12:30 its been years, is this a new Main Lift? that goes bottom to top? My last trip it was all inside a building at the bottom... Or is this the Left lift for the terrain park and stuff? I do remember an old left side lift that runs half way or so.. Maybe all the lifts have been replaced now? shit 2018 was prob my last year there.. so question, is this the high speed main lift to the top?

Which resort do you think gets more crowded on the weekends?

Both resorts can be equally as crowded. Especially during holiday weekends. I would say that Sugar Mountain has the larger crowds as it has more trails and more verticle. Beech Mountain has two separate lodges plus the Yurt at the top of the mountain and is smaller with only about 700 - 800 feet of verticle. But it has more of a ski village feel to it.
