If the H80 series is already giving away metal filings after only a short time of use, there is no support, expensive parts, bad GE Praga corruption, numerous bearing change bulletins, FCU changes, GEARBOX changes among thousands of other factors, imagine this new engine . It will be the successor to the H80 with new problems.

If it was $2 million or so less it would be more marketable. At that price range I would get a Pc-12 or King air 200 or 350.

Different wing, different engine, different fuselage and instrumentation. The engine is GE not Prat. Scalable power up to 1900 SHP. Better maintenance cycles and fuel flow. Design has been ready for years, awaiting on the engine. This design is upward scalable in many ways where the PC-12 is locked in and now has a competitor with more maintenance facilities available.

The Wikipedia article about the aircraft says: "the aircraft is a completely new design, not derived from any existing aircraft" Uh huh... Just like the T-6 II 'wasn't derived from the PC-9' Could be the PC-12's long lost twin brother!!

While Looking at it. It Look like the top of the Front oleo strut had crack in it. Might just be a grease line. Maybe I'm just OCD. Yep grease lines

My guess is they are too late to penetrate a market firmly established by the competition 30 years ago. I fly EMS in a PC12, and know it fairly well. The ngx, and this, are overburdened with high tech gimmick stuff like auto throttles. Meh. Give a legacy 47 pc 12 with G600 and GTN 750 and call it a day. It does not need fadec.

The comments that the Denali looks like a Pilatus PC12 are off the mark. The Denali is very close in design to the TBM 900 series aircraft A PC12 will seat 10 passengers in an aerial shuttle bus configuration. The Denali started life as the Cessna Denali, then for whatever reason was transferred to the Beechcraft line up. I love that with using the GE Catalyst engine and the FADAC digital engine controls, the time for major inspection is 4,000 hours. The Pratt PT6 variants require/required inspections at 2,000 hours. I'm also a fan of Garmin electronics. Honeywell avionics are used in much larger aircraft, so if you're a owner/operator of light twins or other turbo props, chances are you're using Garmin.

I'm from Brazil, Socana Aviação Agrícola we bought a Thrush 510G with a H80-100 serial number H80-207DC and with only 1900 hours of engine operation it showed metal filings, a serious problem. Thush never provided support or honored the warranty. We have more than 30 Thrush operators in Brazil with problems. Thush and GE general electric are the worst companies in this world. I have photos, videos, reports. I have everything documented. We are bringing together all operators in Brazil to take legal action against GE.

The GE H80 series, formerly Walter, is a joke. There are infinite mandatory bulletins, the reduction box cannot last 500 hours, FCU bulletins and breakdowns, the engine has a bearing change bulletin which is more expensive than buying a PT6. I SAY this because I bought a Thrush 510G with a GE H80 engine. This engine showed filings after little use. GE Czech Prague will not assist you. Here in Brazil, all GE engines had problems. More than operators on the ground with a white elephant. Apart from the countless accidents.
