Because grass fed and finished non-gmo fed gas is denser than air, so it falls down and is stomped into the grass in an environmentally beneficial cycle. But GMO grain fed farts are lighter than air so they go right up into the upper atmosphere and the noxious GMO grain-fed gas eats a bigger hole in the ozone. Everybody knows this! Farts go into the ground? What the hell?
@chelseaann1128

As cattle digest their food (grain or grass), their ruminant digestive systems produce methane, a greenhouse gas. Cattle release this methane primarily by belching, though also to a lesser extent through flatulence. Studies have shown that grass-fed cattle produce 20% more methane in their lifetime than grain-fed cattle. This is due to two different factors: 1) cattle naturally emit more methane when digesting grass. 2) grass-fed cattle reach market weight more slowly than feedlot cattle, so they’re emitting methane over a longer time (Marshall, 2010). However, the above percentage may be misleading (from a carbon footprint standpoint) due to a phenomenon known as “carbon sequestration.” Grass-Fed Cattle & Carbon Sequestration Grass-fed cattle may mitigate these increased emissions through carbon sequestration. Cattle rotated across pasture land encourage new growth while working manure and other natural fertilizers into the soil. The theory is that healthy soil traps carbon dioxide, keeping it from rising into the atmosphere. “Indeed, although grass-fed cattle may produce more methane than conventional ones…their net emissions are lower because they help the soil sequester carbon” (Abend, 2010).

Grass fed cows produce more methane gas than grain feed cows. However, they encourage grass growth and by rotating between pastures which are naturally fertilized , the excess carbon from the methane is mitigated and turned into a net decrease. corn and soy crop farming are so Carbon producing and the way grain feed cows are raised in enclosed lots with the waste being held in water pools which also releases carbon into the environment.

Grass fed beef means more methane. Cows are ruminant that basically ferment things until they can be digested. Farmed grains result in quick digestion and low methane. Grain fed also means less land and water is used to sustain the cows. In terms of environmental effect grass fed is the worst. Wouldn’t switch to plant based though, try poultry and seafood, much more sustainable and healthier too.

Don't ask me how I know this… But, actually, a very small amount of flatulence is methane gas (regardless of the animal it comes from); and, methane is much lighter than air… So, no, it doesn't go back into the ground, but there is very little of it to begin with so it doesn't matter…

Fermentation occurs in the Rumen which is the first chamber...so its actually burps. If it matters at all...

It is not the “farts” that create the methane my friend, but instead it is rather the “burps” of the cow that produce said methane.

What's so sad, is you have to be able to see that cow from a calf and raised all the way up to slaughter. Now that people have become more educated in terminology, companies will start just putting that on their packaging. I buy from a local farmer in my area but I'm not even there on their farm all the time to see if they aren't giving their cattle some grain. I can afford at this particular time to pay higher prices but most can't. I bought a 3 lb chicken yesterday from a farmer and it was $27.

I thought expeller pressed canola oil is good as you stated on many of your videos. Can we get a little clarification? Still learning and love the videos

Canola oil is poison, it's loaded with linoleic acid...like the vast majority of seed oils. Doesn't matter if it's mechanically pressed or solvent extracted.

Not a myth. Ruminants produce methane because of the bacteria in their stomachs.
