i made this last night with a few adjustments and it was perfect. Quite literally the best lasagna I've ever had. Adjustment #1: Drain the beef after it's browned or you're going to get a greasy mess. Adjustment #2: skip the boiling noodles and use oven ready lasagna noodles. Saves so much time and does not at all compromise on the taste. That being said, this was a phenomenal dish and easy to make. But man alive, cheese is expensive.

I made this exactly as stated except used ground turkey meat and used Cabernet as the wine. I was prepared to serve 4 people however, right at the last minute I was informed several others would be joining us. Panicked thinking I would not have enough food I decided to make the same sauce using ground beef and serve it with spaghetti. Well...everyone loved it!!! The food was absolutely delicious and both dishes were so rich in flavor. So so good!!! Thank you thank you so much for your wonderful recipes. Every dish I have made has been a success. 😘

I have never made lasagna with ricotta. I used only cottage cheese. Which now I see that a little bit of ricotta would be good and I never put mozorella cheese in between the layers. I think that is why your squares stood so high. Very delicious looking. And your presentation is great.

Hi Natasha, a better trick for your foil not to stick on your cheese is spaying your foil with non-stick spray and covered the lasagna and when you take the foil out of your dish, the cheese won't stick on the foil !!! And there you go ... !!!! have a great week end ahead !!!

Looks irresistibly yummy 🤤 I'm just gonna have to try your recipe. I really like to use zucchini strips for the noodles. Yum Talking about freezing it...do you bake it off first before you freeze?
