No, no, no... Not spare ribs, SHORT Ribs. There's a difference. Short ribs are a lot thicker and have more meat the bones but, I agree 💯, a perfect dinner for the Holidays. Thank you, Merry Christmas! 😜🎄🍻

I don't know why I didn't comment on this but I'm going to now. I have almost the same crock pot from the 80s that I still use. Now I've never had short ribs like that but I'll tell you what I would really consider making them cuz they sure do look amazing, I do remember my Mom using them ,but she used them when she made vegetable soup! So good with cornbread 😁

That's what I'm talking about very nice. And see that's a main reason why if you have a older appliance don't get rid of it. They just made equipment much better back then. My big oval slow cooker is from the late 90s. The only thing I replace was the cord & coils when I first got it from a family member.

I don't just keep them, I seek them out at secondhand stores, ebay.... Old school Rival Crockpot's are the best. I have 3. 😁

@@PMGK Nice do you fix them up & resell them or just collect. Most companies nowadays don't take the time to produce quality items it's always fast products for less money. That's why most things now break quicker than back in the day.

No, when I buy them, they are still in working condition and in good shape. I just want back ups. The oldest one I have, still works great but one of the side handles split all the way through and off. 😢
