Has lost 2/3 of his bees every year for 10 years. Bought 140 queens last year. Yep t/f works

great correlation based on whoever this is.. believe what you like. if Putting pesticides on an insect every year multiple times to keep them alive is working then we have different definitions of "works" have fun worrying about mites.

If using Tylosin as an antibiotic, does he add probiotics or prebiotics to the feed and bring the bees gut health back up?

2/3 lose the last 10 years..... humm he might want to start treating for mites.

Any chance you can dive into the home remedy - preventive power he uses for over wintering? Tyrosine (Tylan), Salt, Sugar, and garlic powder- what ratios and how often does he apply? I want to run my yard and hives as natural as possible. Thanks!! 😊

Farmer John has all the top of the line equipment.. he just needs to start doing drone brood removal he won't lose anything to speak of and those suppers would be full . Michigan you won't get it done with chemmicals alone our flows are to long . Need a combination of mechanical and chemicals.. I didn't use any chemicals when I still had drone brood this season.. 70% of the mites are in the drones

Why do beekeepers allow a mite determine what they are as a beekeeper? I will never understand the animosity between treatment and treatment free beekeepers, they are just different styles of beekeeping. Neither one better or worse just different styles. It seems there are to many people that think their way of beekeeping is the Only Way or Best Way🙄those types of beekeepers get Blocked, they are not worth listening to. 🤔If you don't bring something constructive to the conversation ya are not worth listening to. 😁It's all about sharing knowledge and furthering the conversation of Beekeeping not stoking little egos. Great video thanks for sharing, Blessed Days Emily...👍

Treatment free is the golden ticket to becoming rich didn't know that. I'm over here going why change things 70% of the mites live in the drone brood that's a easy fix . Need to find a market for living drone larva next Asians love it

Butyric acid is awful stuff. It makes beer smell like rancid vomit. I can completely understand why bees run away from it. lol
