Well you boys have been askin for this for around a month now so here it is. It was my first time playing Metal Gear Rising and I honestly had a lot of fun with it. Hopefully Konami will stop bein dumb and actually make a sequel to this game since it deserves one. Shout out to Omega and Foreredgrave for helping me with the game on stream. Hope you guys enjoy this video because it killed my sleep schedule lmao.

I just love this game so damn much. Konami showing signs of rising from the ashes with that new Getsu Fuuma game gives me renewed hope. Meanwhile, here's me breaking my controller while perfecting every boss from Monsoon on, because I really enjoyed "The Saucy Jack Experience" (tho I really wish the combat had some more depth to it, like modern DMC or Bayonetta)

Step 4: Stop crying and recognize attack patterns. Step 5: Learn. Step 6: Funny ass dodge to the win. IF you know how to time it, especially when Armstrong glows yellow (when he does the shockwave) it can be dodged with right timing and dodge at the right direction once you know his attack pattern. Even the punches he can pull are easily dodged if you know what direction he's going to charge his fist at. Step 7: Bully Armstrong. Edit: Do not block his attacks if you want to get a no damage run, alright? Running around and dodging is the way to go.

honestly fighting him unarmed gets a bit boring once you learn the patterns, i think you have to wait 2-3 minutes of armstrong doing whatever attacks he does until it triggers the actual fight. fun boss but a pain in the ass to no damage because of how long it fucking takes.

@@Grimreaperedge *laughs in beating him with no damage on revengeance difficulty* About the rocks,if you're playing on a controller,the only thing you have to do is aim so the slash is inside the hitbox then (while still aiming exactly in that position) you push the button for slashing (either horizontal or vertical) and it will perfectly cut in the place you aimed at. When he wants to grab you,jump,just jump. He'll do a troll loop if you dodge so just jump. Also if you wanna cheese it,if you have the wig with infinite blade mode,go into reaper mode and blade mode *simultaneously*,it will drastically slow down the time so you can chop off like 20% of his health evrrytime you did it. Played the game like 4 years ago and still remember that,proves that it was a hell of a game.

@@crazy_teacup lol the only thing that angered me for this game was armstrong aimboting and lack of the game really explaining the boss. for example never says blade mode worked in certain things. like when you fight him and he traps you in lava then explodes forcing you to be 1 shoted or when he throws the rock and for 0 reason invert your controls to make you struggle even harder. lol basicly gave up on that game and hopefully if any game comes out like this they never pull a troll on me like that again

Did you know Blademode allows for combo reset like the removing the stinger finishing animation It also allowes better access to the Gadged menu Blademode -> then let it end -> and then eminently to the gadget menu Also skipps reload of RPG

huh, funny thing about the emp grenades: i had the opposite process: I figured put right away that you could use them to force monsoon to solidify (just using real world logic, which yes, isn't always applicable in video games so i don't blame anyone for not getting it), and in recent attempts i actually intentionally didn't use them because i think they make the fight too easy
