Been Running a Lowrance Ghost Trolling Motor for 2 Years- Listen in to Hear What I Think!!

I have had a Lowrance Ghost on my last two bass boats and absolutely love it! I go over in details some of my favorite features and how it all works.

Starting to think about a Ghost since they offer a 60" shaft for my deep V. Little worried the Garmin 57" might not be quite long enough in rough water. Had been set on Terrova but Minn Kota can't seem to get their sh*t together and actually produce a freaking trolling motor.

Why is there No percentage showing up on your graph? How do you know what percentage your trolling motor is running at?

Because you fish the Great Lakes,did you go with the 52” shaft or stay with the 47”?

I use a 47" shaft since I fish all over the country and the 52" would limit some shallow water fishing. If I was just on the Great Lakes I would have a 52" for sure.

Just got one for my boat. Went to turn it on all the lights on the pedal lit up and I can't turn it off. Unless I unplug it or reset the breaker. Anyidea what is going on?

To turn mine off I just hold the button for a long second maybe 2. If that’s not working reach out to Lowrance. They have a pretty good customer service department

I love mine, except for the arrows never seem to line up correctly, the magnets don't seem to work correctly. Been that way since out of the box over a year ago. Any advice? Wasn't that big of a deal until now, using it with active target makes it frustrating.

it's a hair off but if you learn the feel of your trolling motor pedal you'll never miss. It's a learned muscle memory

@@graebuckfishing thanks for the reply, after doing more research, I pull the arrow off and the teflon wasn't installed correctly. After realigning it, everything is much better.

Need to remove 2xT10 and 15xT15 screws. Remove shroud. Pop out shaft magnet and reglue it so that it better lines up with the head. Reassemble. Super glue works fine.

Use the hook on the head to assist in lowering the motor.

I hate my ghost , sucks in the grass , prop breaks easy , spot lock is loud, kicks into reverse really fast while spot locking. Grae you’re sponsored by them so your review is irrelevant.
