It's not that they are different per say, it that they have cultivated their force or spirit of willpower. We (all humans) can all do it with practice. Bert forgetting basic personal details of his best friend is incredibly validating
@Garblegox
@Garblegox 9 ай бұрын
When you write something down, you often don't remember the thing, you remember where you stored it, which is a smaller and easier memory to hold on to. Same goes with friends and memories. You often forget the most commonplace facts about a friend, because they're things you know they'll repeat. But when your brain thinks a fact is at risk of being lost forever, it hunkers down and does a way better job at storing the info for longterm.

The interrupting is one thing but Bert's ADHD makes him jump through five different topics for a few seconds every time so we always end up with the beginning of 30 stories going nowhere. Sometimes there is actually a nugget in there but too often I'm fuming because he killed an interesting thing Tom raised. It is what it is. I mean there making millions over millions so they are obviously doing it right.

@@Madagon367dude exactly, not only does he interrupts but brings out so many topics that in the end dont go nowhere. And he knows this, he knows thats a problem he has, he addressed a lil bit on his Brandon Novak interview. I hated when Novak was going in a cool crazy drugs story and Bert cut him off over and over and still it was a good episode. Its like Bert doesnt registers what the other person says, and just says the first thing that pops in his brain. Idk how Tom does it.....oh yeah, millions of dollars.

@TheImageryGuy
@TheImageryGuy 9 ай бұрын
Nadav, this may help with your training for running the marathon. I was 40 pounds overweight in 1996 and had a physical training test I had to pass for the military. So, I had a specific time I had to beat to pass the 1.5 mile run. I ran/walked 7 miles every other day for 3 months. That first week, the duration was like 3-4 hours; as I continued/kept at it, the duration reduced and my run speed increased. As you see telephone poles, you jog/sprint from telephone pole to pole, then walk (rest) until the next pole. Cramped muscles can be a huge issue, so make sure to increase vitamin and mineral intake as needed during training; then, once you get closer to race day, use the diet that works and avoid things that cause issues. Chaffed skin (sensitive nipples, legs, etc) can reduce your performance/cause distraction, so ensure you lock this down/work out your preventative measures before race day. I wore a white t-shirt for my running, but for long duration running sessions, chaffed nipples began to be an issue; bandaids definitely helped. Bert's advice is sound; have an early morning run on a regular basis (3-7 days per week). Get up early; drink water before bed so you get up early to urinate and poop; carb up with a fruit/milk smoothie right before your morning run; go for your run; have a healthy breakfast meal after your morning run. Metabolism is huge for weight loss, so after your evening run, you take a long cold shower; cold showers cool you off if you are running in hot weather, but also helps reduce your core body temperature. So, then after your body burns calories to increase your core body temperature. I lived close enough to my work to bike in, so I was walking/running 7 miles every day, then biking to and from my apartment and for lunch, so 4 times back and forth daily. Point being, try to always be exercising or increasing your metabolism to help with weight loss and increase endurance.

Really I thought it was the unrelatable life styles and how they record a bunch all in one day and Bert just lies about everything

Tom said a total of three words this episode. I think it’s a record.

Please don’t let Bert ruin the Nadav Marathon extravaganza…he’ll just try to make it all about him. Keep him as far away as possible please 🙏

That's exactly what's going on. And I guarantee Nadav knows it. With Berts apparent chaotic schedule he just pulled a day to run with Nadav. Only because he sees the publicity leading up to it. Let's make this about me( Bert). Narcissism 2.0

Right. I'm excited for Nadav...I'm even training myself just because I'm inspired by the possibility of him kicking ass and overcoming that challenge. What I don't want is for Bert to show up and Bert it up. Takes away all the positivity and might make Nadav not even want to do it anymore. @@steph7960
