Yes you're both absolutely bang on there! We all baught the P.D. machine all those years ago so as we could get to drink original European beers and obviously we didn't mind paying the extra money for that luxury.

1000% they will get people to buy it now, start to really enjoy it at the price and then will switch to the UK brewed crap and keep the price the same. Just as they have done with Leffe. Almost a case of why wouldn’t they? If you like the proper San Miguel my advice would be to buy as much as you can now, while you can!!
