I just wanted to throw this comment out there after seeing so much support and happiness from you all! I’m so glad that so many of you have found as much joy from this video as I had while creating it! Now that so many of you have let me know what he meant by “struggle pizza,” I thought I’d let you all know what my struggle foods were!!! (At first I thought he was referring to what he eats when he’s depressed, thank you everyone for chiming in!) Other than the Tonys pizzas, when we were growing up, our delicacy was just ground beef over mashed potatoes, no gravy, just the beef. (Back then beef and potatoes were dirt cheap lol) In college my go to was ramen like so many others but to get the extra calories I used to raid the local deli for their ranch packets among others 😂😂😂. Ranch and ramen together, yes… but no! Lol I left college after only a couple semesters, It just wasn’t for me, and neither were the ranch packets lol. Speaking of pineapple, it was one “smoky” evening after eating a few Tony’s pizzas that i accidentally discovered pineapple pancakes!!! 😅 Anyway, tell me YOUR “struggle foods” below! I wanna know! In Mexico there is this "7-11" like joint that was near my campus, the chain store is called "OXXO", back in my day you could buy a weiner hot-dog for like a buck, 2 bucks and add a soda, and they had "chilli" that you could "add" to your nachos, they didn't charge for the chilli, just the nachos or the hot-dog I would absolutely drown my hot-dog with the chilli to make it more filling, I also got sugar and salt packets from there.

Yes Asmond grew up very poor, in particular his young adult/teen life, he won't admit it but he suffers from PTSD which is why despite being a millionaire he will not spend money on himself, he's bought his dad a new car, allowed his mother when she was alive to buy whatever she wanted and paid off that home, but when it comes to himself he can't spend.

The struggle pizza refers to the time before (and a part) during his streaming career. Asmon wasnt piss poor but came from little and build himself and his stream to the point where now he's owner of 3 succesfull companies and one of the biggest streams on Twtich. His youtube gets like 50mil views a month too. The coolest part? This whole video. This man could live like an actual literal god in a villa with a chef cooking for him 3 times a day but this video just shows who he really is. I love him

The bombing of the city metaphor can be pictured as if you're playing a video game in which you need to level a city with as few bombs as possible (efficiency), and you don't want any of the blast-areas to overlap because that is inefficient use of the limited bombs you can drop as you fly over. So be basically just means not overlapping any of the pepperoni's. The "6th graders think it's weed" is because a lot of kids in elementary school try to act 'hard' and bring oregano to school and show their friends, telling them it's weed. Just something a lot of kids do who are around that age. The "struggle pizza" probably meant when he is financially struggling in the past, and he need to keep his expenses dirt-poor, which explains why he ever bought $1 (now $2) pizza. So the word struggle in this context I believe is meant as financially struggling.

Its common for older kids in highschool to sell 'weed' to younger kids like in 6th grade but in reality those highschoolers either want the weed themselves or don't know where to get it so they sell the younger kids oregeno telling them its weed. At least something along those lines has happened more times than I can count when I was in highschool in mid 2010s. Would imagine with weed legal in many places now this would be harder to do as a means to scam some young kids outta $20.

Oh god, I still buy the totinos pizzas sometimes, I grew up eating them out of the microwave, back when they were round and fit on a paper plate. I'd just roll those bad boys up like a burrito and go to town. In high school we had those tony's deep dish ones we could buy. I'd get two of them for lunch almost every day. They weren't microwaved or baked, but put in a hot box or something in the bag...they were so good that way! someday I'll be able to recreate that method at home in my convection oven. I've gotten close a few times, but not quite perfect just yet...I need to go buy a stack of them now.

I got 3$ fresh pizza in the fridge right now, and I do the same thing of adding my own toppings. Pro tip~ put about a tablespoon of water down on you're backing paper lined oven tray and sit the pizza on it.. move it around and let it absorb (let frozen pizza defrost first, and half cook time), crank the oven to max and let preheat.... then throw it in extremely fast and turn the temp way down to what would usually be just under the recommended temp on the packaging. You'll get that crispy base and fluffy dough, rather than a rock hard base with kind of average dough and burnt top.

Healthy food can make you just as fat as unhealthy food. Asmon just eats 1-2 cookies + 1 potato and a 2 dollar steak per day or a small pizza instead of a steak. You probably eat breakfast lunch dinner and snacks in between. That's the difference.

I live in NW PA and around here we all have at least one of those (Ovens) , rosters. Every house has one, made by Westinghouse in the late 60s with the all the bake-a-lite handles and bits. Never seen a pizza cooked in one before but the "roaster" is a versatile cooking vessel. At a Wedding or Wake you can find whole tables (not to be confused with the cookie table) with those thing lined up blowing circuit breakers at will.

BBQ sauce on pizza is great. you just have to pick the right one and also make sure you pair it with the right ingredients. when I use BBQ sauce I never put tomato sauce on it and usually use chicken as the meat instead of pepperoni.
