Every season it has a different group of singers, singing songs from each other of songs that someone else in the group loves. Every episode one singer is in the spotlight. Some seasons were better then others. This season was one of the best.

Oh, Henk Poort is one of 3 famous opera singers from The Netherlands. The guy has been killing it in the music business for decades.

The young looking guy on the couch is a guy called Ruben Annink. He is a singer/songwriter and was born in 1998. At the time of this season of 'Beste Zangers' he would have been 21 :-)

This is really a cover of a cover. In 2015 Disturbed released their version of this song (the live version on Conan show is worth watching). This was written by a folk artist, and covered by a metal band, and an opera singer, and all are amazing.

SMH Seriously? You mean the absolute legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon who wrote this and scored a massive hit with it with his companion Art Garfunkel? The artists that have covered this are legion! Disturbed and Henk Poort are just two more, very talented, lads that gave it a go.

@@laziojohnny79 Exactly, many have, I was just pointing out that 3 very different performers in 3 very different genres, were able to take the same lyrics and melody and make it work. It's a testament to the quality of the original song that the lyrics could work for each performer and feel like that's how they were intended to be.

Henk is an amazing talent...Floor grew up a big fan of his. All of the people singing on the show are known professional singers :)
