I love when these 2 do long form podcasts. They seem so completely themselves and I love that. I think they maybe don't realise, though, that periods aren't like a cut in your leg (and aren't as scary as that). It's not like a fresh cut with blood pouring out of you!! It's slow, but painful, and actually not a lot of blood is lost over your entire period. With makeup, I do think a factor is that due to our hormones, women's facial skin is more prone to problems especially from ages 15-50, things like acne, redness etc. So we might look cute when our skin is better, but not so much when our skin is worse for hormonal reasons. Makeup helps us even that out so we look pretty much the same all the time. Well done guys you did great!

I love the way you talk about the makeup, and I agree. I remember seeing myself with makeup on every day as a preteen and teen and thinking I looked male or like I couldn't be pretty without it. I think light makeup or only a full face because you feel like it a few times a week has been way better for my self-confidence.

Thanks for addressing the body types and dysmorphia. The thing I noticed is you were addressing it from a confidence or lack of confidence standpoint, when in reality there is SO MUCH body shaming for both large and small men /women. It is a lot of wear and tear on even the utmost confident person. The amount of stares and under the breath comments and even directly at you comments that can cut through the confidence and leave a scar. Parents, please teach kindness, love and compassion are the most important characters to possess, and basic golden rule more valuable than the size of the person.

utah winters are so long 🤧 i really love the names sunny & ozzy :) makeup for me feels therapeutic, i like the feeling of a beauty blender and setting spray at the end. i listen to music, take pics, and take it off whether i went out or stayed in and did it for fun. i also didn’t start wearing full faces (foundation, concealer, etc etc) more than once in a blue moon, until my first semester of uni. maturity could play a part in when you first start wearing it & whether or not you can comprehend your face is your face and makeup isn’t permanent, no matter how many hours you wear it for. logistically sometimes it’s too hot to wear it and not sweat it off 😭 i’d rather wear sunscreen and protect my actual skin. no one needs it & i hope most ppl when asked why they wear it, it’s for fun and to just switch things up. taking day breaks even weeks between wearing makeup to avoid face dysmorphia.
