Not only fewer pages, but the other quintet instruments are only reading half the clefs and only one note at a time. :( It's CRAZY easy for them . . . ;) It would be interesting to see a tally by instrument of the number of notes played . . .

Fingerings ? Oh you wouldn't say so, i am convinced that some Chopin etudes are impossible without the correct fingering, he only gives it half the times. I have a Paderewski fingering edition of the Etude along with Chopin's fingering. Often Chopin put no fingering and after many years i found that Paderewski fingering is very often wrong and i do not believe he was able to play some of the etudes based on his fingerings. That is my conclusion after i found the right fingering and am able to play it.

Any professional pianist can learn Beethoven's quintet in 10 days, that's just normal. Absolutely not alarmingly difficult or anything like that. 'Reprise' is called 'recapitulation in English.
