the beautiful sensitivity of touch that Valentina has in this performance makes the opening movement seem to float so gracefully along, dreamily. Then, the 2nds movement so cheerfully wakes you back up, and says get ready for a quick (but adventurous) trip back home, and Valentina then pounces into that great, rush-home, final movement. I've never hear another pianist do *quite* the dramatic performance of this one. Dearest Valentina, I hope you are well and that you get this message. I saw you play live today in Brussels at Flagey for the Piano Days. It was incredible. You truly mastered Beethoven. You played for 1 hour and half. You ended with the complete moonlight sonata and an extra piece of Chopin(nocturne in c sharp minor). Both of those pieces are extremely special to me. We spoke briefly after your concert and I told you how amazing it was. You were very kind and gracious. I just want to say your interpretations are amazing. Every video gives me goosebumps. I'm no musician myself but I tend to recongize perfection when I hear it. My brain isn't able to analyse it but my heart soars like a hawk. Thank you for your amazing art.

What a humanly emotional version of this. Imagine being able to perform this piece. A burden, yet a blessing.

Un'artista incantevole e melodica, eccezionale con il tocco lieve e gentile mi lascia senza parole. Grande, grande!!!!!!!!

This performance is perfection......I have listened to this piece so many times by a host of pianist's, so far none of them have eclipsed this performance.

This is the only video/recording I have EVER come across that really feels like it conveys, not only the music of Beethoven, but his FEELINGS! You can feel the burning restraint of the slow start, the irony of the time's style in the middle, and then the pure rage of the finale!
