I know it sounds lame but you’re one of my heros and inspiration to learning piano.. I’m 19 and 1,5 months in, I just love to listen to your videos

What a coincidence! I just recorded this movement last month (it’s on my KZbin-Channel) 🎹 I totally agree with all your suggestions, especially the fingerings and the idea of slurs (7:30). Helped me a lot to avoid tension in the hand and in the arm! Thanks, Josh!

I recently bought your ProPractice course, can't wait to play this in the future (maybe in 10 years) :)

Love your tutorials. A lot of your repertoire tutorials are out of my skill level for the time being, but I'll have a great reference point for when I am ready. Thanks for all your content! 🥂

Very good insights on this piece! I agree with what you said at 9:57 about this part being the hardest :) I feel the same, and although I have been working on this piece for a few months now, it's still quite hard to keep the tempo steady especially in the following section! Also thanks for explaining the hand rotation technique, I have been wondering about that for a while!

9:55 me too, it probably is the most difficult part because of tension. Thanks for your advise, greetings from Germany!

With the 3 pieces of opus 31 (and especially the N2), this is the moment in his life when he decided to "open a new path".

Amazing, you are a fabulous teacher and communicator! But what about pedaling and fingering from Beethoven's own hand for this piece? Why are they systematically ignored by most teachers?

Nobody could do water falling into still pools, whether drop by drop or in a torrent, like Beethoven.
