What is Furt/Kna style?
@javiermartingАй бұрын
@@ponchogom9339 Well, I refer to Wilhelm Furtwängler and Hans Knappertsbusch. Both conductors were the epitome of subjective conducting in the first half of the XX century., mainly in the core symphonic germanic repertoire. Here Christian Thielemann delivers a very subjective rendition, one that Furt and Kna would have been very proud of.

You can call me a cliché person, but I really see beauty in Classical Music, even if I don’t understand it fully yet. And with Thielemann!? He is one of the best conductors that I have ever seen! Germans and Austrians with Beethoven, always an excellent combination!

There are people that do not listen to classical music make fun of the 4 notes of Beethoven Fifth. Sometimes it is quite offensive. Maybe they do not know what "Fate" is all about. Once "Fate" knocks on the door of those individuals, sooner or later, they will understand the 4 notes are serious stuff.. Only Beethoven can write "Fate" as a piece of music and share with the world. Thank you!!!

I share not joy with listening to this Symphony. The Joy is with the 9th at long last. The means to the Joy are not found in this one. This man is unable to desire the one that men desire. The one that is desired by men of all nations is unable to be what this is. The Crucifixion would be appropriate for the 2nd as to person, but you need to approach it faithfully through the 3rd Person, but many wouldn't view that as a heroic deed. The 1st Symphony is the one who knows more than the 2nd and the 3rd. Captain Picard is tortured by the 4th, just because. The difference between Mendelsohn's Italian Symphony and the Reformation Symphony starts on October 31, 1517. On June 30, 1530, the Augsburg Confession was read to the Holy Roman Emperor Charles III, who was also King of France at the time. The German Electoral Princes and Dukes chose him. Nothing new to these poses.

No, this is NOT the "fate symphony", that would be P. I. Tchaikovsky's Symphony #4. Anyone with any musical knowledge would know that the symphony is based on 3 short notes and a longer note. That goes from the first notes all the way to the final 3 notes. Otherwise, I see/hear nothing wrong with the performance!

Rather poor sound quality, not the fault of the orchestra, but the very flat recording.
