Beethoven: Symphony No.7 / Eliahu INBAL / TMSO

I've made an evening of the TMSO performing Beethoven: Egmont Overture, Beethoven 4th Piano Concerto, and, now, his Seventh Symphony. All well done. Were I a paying member of the audience, I'd have felt I'd gotten my $$$s worth. I am puzzled by @shtonker8's remarks, below. This was no ho-hum outing for the 7th. コンマスは矢部さんと山本さんですか。 7番はデプリーストの時に、のだめの録音で山本コンマスがずっと細かい指示を受けてやってたんですよね？あれがたぶん都響のスタンダードになっている気がします。その後、インバルも7番の時にはオケにお任せだったように見えましたが？ しかし、インバルが久々に都響で運命を振ったとき、その頃流行っていたピリオド系の演奏とは違うカラヤンなどの時代の演奏を指示した時にはいろいろな異論が出ましたが、最近では随分と慣れましたね。

日本のオーケストラはKZbinで聴く程度なのでよく知らないのですが、この演奏ではビブラートをほとんどかけていませんよね？　このあたりは、「オケにお任せ」なのか、それともインバルの指示なのでしょうか？

Something is not right with this...no one is looking at the conductor. I had the horrid thought that he is just there because a orchestra needs one after all...and the violins, perhaps it's YT, the violins are screechy in the Allegretto. A bit bizarre to see.
