it sounds like the "The Bridge on the River Kwai's soundtrack", well can be a variation of an older militar march or theme, because Ludwig was a great at the variations. Does anybody think the same that me about the soundtrack? Regards from Chile, dear James, we watch "Piano Man" every time we can.

Just like the waldstein, you think it's going to end....then you realise that it's beethoven, the master of the lengthy transitioned coda..
@DS4229611 жыл бұрын
i actually loved this piece, even though it isn't beethoven's i want to learn it... where can i find the sheet music for this???
@johnsmith-eh3yc7 жыл бұрын
Well you could start by asking Dudley Moore;s heirs if his arrangement can be put up for sale and if they are happy with his work being used without any acknowledgement whatsoever in at least two videos by James.I am a fan of James, love his Schumann Dedication but this failure to mention Dudley does James no credit at all, There are a couple of kids playing a variant on Liszt's Hungarian rhapsody and even they have the decency to credit Victor Borge

I love what you did in Chopin the woman behind the music, but for millions of reasons this is not written by Beethoven, i can explain that through the pianistic technics used, the rhythmicity and dynamics of the piece also through the poor harmonic stuff in the piece and the annoying coda, not to mention the J.S Bach part and the Moonlight Sonata motif. Sir, its not by playing loud sounds and going through a perfect cadenza you can pretend that it's a piece by Beethoven you just discovered, it's an improvisation you played or probably a piece you created to simulate Beethoven style and it's not that cool to tell people it's something that belongs to probably the greatest compser of all times. Respect.

Man, it's Dudley Moore's parody of Beethoven... the fact that Rhodes doesn't say it is part of the joke. Take it easy! 😀
