I often feel life would not be worth living in a world without Beethoven. The Violin Concerto is the best in the violin repertoire. I've read 47 biographies on Ludwig's life. An incredible journey of the man that has given more to humanity than any single other human. Also, wrote and produced a play on his life.

I always think why Beethoven only wrote just one violin concerto??... he wrote 5 for piano... Why just one for violin.. Its just make me so sad. I sometimes feel Beethoven isn't just human like us normal ordinary ppl. His music is from the heaven. Beethoven is only one comfort my soul in the world.

Interesting how he played the opening motif all on the G string and not in the first position like he said he might in videos leading up to the concert

Pourquoi? Why? A Baroque orchestra does not sound like a modern one and Apollo's Fire have a vivacity which makes many a conventional rendition sound pedestrian and emotionally exhausted.

@@rosemaryallen2128 Parce que c'est souvent faux , trop fort, le son claque mais reste creux et les accentuations déplorables....et ces instruments d'époques surtout les vents sont dépassés dans tout leur registre.
