There are some actors that slip right into a character because it fits them perfectly, Keaton and Beatlejuice the guy didnt play the character for 36 and then slipped back in perfectly. I have to say, I was disappointed at the end of Bellucci's character since there is a lot of built up and then the Climax lasts like an instant. I would have also preferred a 2-2:30 hour long movie cause it it true that way to many things happen, it is one of the few movies where a longer movie would have been probably better. An other let down for me was the absence of the Maitlands, though the long gap allows for a whole different scenario I would have liked to see how Life was in the time after the First one. I have a feeling a 3 one could happen in the future, as it goes for most movie Jenna Ortega is in,however idk if it would be useful for the Story. Overall it was a Nice experience and is arguably the best way they could have gone for a sequel

I really like this movie 7,5/10 in my opinion.I rewatched first Beatlejuice before going to cinema and overall I also think second part is better(more beatlejuice) but first one created this world and the bridge ang the groom plot was amazing.But back to the second part it also have 2 big cons. 1.Beatlejuice ex wife was hyped for the most part of the movie as big evil and he easily defated her. 2.Jenna Ortega is my favourite actress but if you watched Wednesday you will see many similarities with Astrid. They both are cynical and pessimisctic,they both study at school far away from home,they both have bad realations with their mothers but after all they love them and most important they both fall in love with semingly nice guy who turns out to be evil monster and killer as big plot twist but ewantually is defated 😅

I did'nt like it. It was mess with no structure to it. There was some good stuff in there, but overall disappointing. 4/10. Like you say the Catherines performance was spot on and Beetlejuice himself was good enough. The music did'nt fit with what was going on and why all this dancing. In one scene everyone just starts dancing. Too many sideplots that did'nt lead anywhere. Beetlejuice himself just seemed passive, like he was just in it for show

Idk man, the movie really felt rushed as hell. Spoilers: I really liked how Jeremy was a ghost and all but it was executed poorly and the way the offed his character was very bad. Like you said the movie was way overstuffed. I just prefer the original way more. Barbara and Adam, the deetz moving in, the way they realize they are dead and how they try to haunt the deetz, the banana boat song. It's just such a good movie to me. This one was fun but not as good as the first one.
