Beetles Cat Eye Gel | First try

The black is just a base color to use. If you put it under the other colors, it makes them stand out more. The only 2 polishes that are magnetic, are 320 and 322, but 322 doesn't do anything with the magnet included. You need a stronger magnet. You also have to do whatever design you want, before curing the gel. Once its cured it doesn't move anymore.

The black is a base to go on before the color polishes, but I got this exact set and had the same issue... the only one that worked for me was 320.

Both cat eye polishes worked for me. They do require the base coat of black underneath and you do have to do a few coats for it to work without curing. The beetles magnet was sufficient

I bought mine as well and even though I watched this video first I did on my practice hands just like how it normally will do so I did the base code 1st I cured it then I did the color and I use the magnet and it automatically did work then I cured it and put another coat on and everythingcame out gorgeous. I love it.

I have this kit. One is a temp changing polish. 3 are cat eye. I could see two change a little. The magnet end is important as well. Go over your instructions again if u have it on hand. Keep working with it. It will work for you. Great video ❤

Not all of them are magnetic, particularly the black. It's a base only I'm excited to try this set.

I had a feeling this would be the result. Beetles gels are too thick for the pigments to be able to move around and respond to the magnet. The magnet would need to be really strong for the pigments to overcome the thickness of that gel. Usually cat eye polishes are a thinner consistency more like nail polish than gel.

I juat bought this and it worked the first time I played with the red tone. Now it doesn't do anything. I might end up making an electromagnet just to have my nails the way I want. smh . The color changing one works amazingly though..

I should have watched this before I brought Beetles Cat Eye polishes. I got the same results. Nothing happened. Just a waste of money. 😢

No it is polish 322, it does not work. I bought on Amazon July 2022. The only one that works somewhat is 320. The cat eye polishes in this set are 322 and 320 only. The magnetic in the set is trash. I used a refrigerator magnet to get 320 to work well.

322 and 320 are the cat eye gels. The 322 is impossible with the magnet that comes with it. I honestly don't know why they include that color in the kit, if you're supposed to use the included magnet. It definitely is cat eye but you have to use a really strong magnet. The only way I got it to work was with a different magnet. Honestly, Modelones has a cat eye kit, same magnet included, and the colors are pretty much the same, but they all actually work.

Beetles is not great brand of gels, I've tried it once and won't buy it ever.

I think the black goes first, then the color. I think the only magnetic ones are the wine color and I think it's 320 is the other one. The blue is color changing when it gets hot and the the other one is a chameleon polish then of course there's the glitter one.. my husband just got them for me so I'm not 100% sure if I'm right about all that since I haven't got them yet, but I've been watching videos on them that's what I've gathered about them so far..

You're right. The wine colored one is beyond frustrating though. The magnet included doesn't move the magnetic polish around, at all. I got a strong magnet, and that was the only way I got it to do anything. But the others are just glitters and thermal gels, so you are definitely correct.
