@@Joeboe_Bean but we can repeat them at home, the goal of the series is get enough vocab for a1 level, so repeating words means less words

It always fascinates me how slavic languages are similar😊. Some words are similar or have similar meaning in Croatian / Serbian but pronunciation is different. For example you pronounce "go-rod" while we say "grad".

hello, i'm looking for other learners' and fyodor's opinions on this do you prefer studying verbs with both imperfective and perfective at the same time over studying just one of them? (Using flashcards and always adding both verbs of a perfective-imperf pair) what do you guys think of this? does it work for you?
@heifie2540
@heifie2540 3 күн бұрын
I write flash cards with perfective / imperfective pairs of verbs. I think studying one after another will take too much time. I write them per hand to remember the words better. Good luck with your studies!!

The last one "тротуар" seems to come from French "trotoire". It was easy for me to master
@mironovnikolay
@mironovnikolay 3 күн бұрын
There was a moment in Russian history when the Russian nobility and high society spoke French. The etymology of the word "тротуар" goes back to the French language: the word was borrowed from it at that time.

Does anyone know this word? "толстушке". I know it means "obese", but it is an adjective, a noun. Is it declined? I am surprised by the ending "-шке". Does it have meaning?
