@@ambivalent5319 вообще змея и крыса не особо схожи, змея это человек что специально осознанно стравливает людей и пр. например, слухи распространяет. А крыса это просто предатель.

@4:45 is so similar in English. We might say a big strong, stocky guy is a "bull of a man". But acting "bullishly" is like being assertive/aggressive.

It's interesting thing, because in Polish we also have verb "byczyć się" from noun "byk", but it has completely different meaning. We can translate it as "to laze" which is synonym for relaxing and doing nothing. It is used in colloquial speech and sometimes may sound rude. It is worth to keep this false friend in mind! Thanks a lot for that!

Корова - это не всегда крупная женщина, иногда так называют неуклюжую женщину. Как правило, так женщины зовут друг друга, мужчины редко оскорбляют женщин, особенно такими словами.

Funny,in Serbian,not that some of animal names are similar,but it's use as offence is similar as well. 1.Koza,used to offend female person(koza refers to female goats,male one would be "jarac"/"yarats/ and yes it can be used to offend men) 2.Ram is called "ovan"(ovca/ovtsa sheep) but there's also "brav" which is used to offend someone 3.Jelen(yelen) is not really used as offence,but there's rogonja(dude with horns)used to mock men who's been cheated by their wives. 4.Krava,same use,or better say,don't use it 5.Bik,same use,to describe someone strong,we have saying "jak k'o bik"(Strong as an ox) 6.Pjetao isn't really used to offend anyone(not to my knowledge)but we say peder to offend gay person,or straight... 7.We don't use woodpecker to offend anyone,but it's similarly called детлић/detlić(ћ/ć sound is like Italian ci,like in ciao).

They both can be used to say "im sorry". Прости мне is like" forgive me" and извини мне is like "excuse me"
@twinstwins56965 жыл бұрын
this words are synonyms nowadays , but actually the meaning of words are pretty different: 1) извини - is consist of prefix ' из ' - that`s mean out and root of word ' вина ' that`n mean blame, so the person, who say извини, don`t really apologize, it`s more about request of not blaming this person for something, and really usefull in small talks and in social communications with plural official,polite form. 2)the word ' прости ' - comes from the origin ' просто ' that`s mean simple or ' простити - исцелить ' - to heal something or someone, so that word are more usefull in personal communications to make all more ' simple' or when person ask for apologizing(healing from blame and shame)
