. I am learning russian since 1 year . Its surprising to find some Russians still continuing as though nothing else is happening in the world except learning russian . I understand its risky to voice opinions in russia but even the future of the language ( for foreigners ) is at stake with the way things are going . As a person who loves russian language and russian culture i find it surprising that language teachers can continue like the music band playing while titanic is sinking . What else can an average russian do ? If not now when ? No need to reply . Just voiced my thoughts to some people of the country which is going to be the next north korea . No hatred for russian people but collectively they are not as helpless as they seem and they have to decide how their collective actions of maintaining a dictator will do for their country and the world . Will russian become like latin for foreigners .? I dont know if the same things continue, will there be demand for russian tutors . I dont know if the same things continue . Thanks to the great dictator even the language learning is at risk . Need not reply ,I dont know whether this youtuber is a propaganda fan or not but wanted to voice my opinion because as lovers of russian language have to clear the brains and think where all this is leading to

My friend, I recommend that you take the time to learn some Russian history, get genuinely educated on geopolitics and then come back here and tell me if you still have the same view. Unlike you and I, he is from a nation that has never had a peaceful transition of power. The small world view you currently have has led you to think protest will actually do something… except get him killed

Let's not bring politics in learning Russian videos, you know how sensitive the Russian government handles this.
@haroonmarikar2 жыл бұрын
@@boltortaure1169 As long as the problems exist do you think learning russian and all other things will be anywhere near 50 percent of the past . The damage to even the language demand is there thanks to the apolitical stance of a large amount of people who are so patriotic that they are watching their country destroyed by successive governments or shall i call dictators . Russians never learned from millions of their own brothers killed by their own governments( under some Romanov tsars , some communists like stalin and now putin ) . Putin is only one such symptom of a systematic disease . I love russians but their apolitical stance is a problem by itself
