From the music you choose, to your aerial shots, and the footage of your sweet dogs, donkeys and cats, not to mention your wonderful senses of humor, I can breathe easy if for just a moment. What an inspiring vlog! Prepping your areas for relaxing, dining and recovery (from all that heavy duty work) is really cool to watch. I especially appreciate how you edge and define the spaces with so much care. You deserve only sunny days from now on after all the rainy days where you just continue working despite the nasty weather. I like the new furniture . Your taste is simply spot-on (imo).

The beauty you captured was so relaxing to watch [compared to the sympathy pains I often have watching you work so hard!] I very much like your new furniture and the way it contrasts with the chateau. A short but sweet episode. I too am an indentured servant to a garden, but unfortunately I have no one on two, three, or four legs with which to enjoy the beautiful drudgery with. I too have a habit of installing a half assed garden, usually when I've bought to much at one time, or when I must rescue each and every seedling ( that I don't need) that came up from the packet of seed that I spilled. Instead of rescuing feral cats, I understood today that I need to rehome the four adorable (but hungry ) bunnies I saw mocking me from a juniper hedge in a raised masonry planter. Isn't servitude fun?

I never felt the fabrics of my mother's living room furniture nor have I ever seen lamp shades without plastic coverings. When I moved out of my parents home, I swore I would never have one piece of plastic anywhere in my home. One day my brother visited and took his shoes off when putting his feet on my Eames foot stool, I told him it wasn't necessary to remove his shoes. I guess he was just used to that because his wife covered everything in plastic including covering the tablecloth during holidays dinners. Ugh. Jane, Philadelphia

Looks very much like Rhododendron ponticum (starts to flower mid to end of May, for about 3-4-5 weeks, loving warm humidity). If so it's probably self seeded. We have it all over here in Ireland, also in England, Wales and Scotland, considered as invasive, when too much also a threat to native wild life (hardly anything grows underneath those thick, tall canopies). - Beautiful drone shots, even if difficult to fly.
