BEFORE ➡️ AFTER TRANSFORMATION! ❤️

IT's FINISHED!!! You read that right. We are done painting our house with our Harbor Freight airless paint sprayer. We used a mineral based paint called Romabio. We aren't sponsored, but we absolutely love this paint. We would use it again without any hesitation or reservations.
We got it done before the weather changed here in Kentucky. According to Romabio, the temperature should be between 50-90°F for application. In addition, the temperature should not dip below freezing in the first 36-48 hours after application. We had already experienced freezing temperatures the previous week and it wasn't getting into the 50's until around 11:00 so we were getting nervous. In the end, it worked out in our favor. We can't believe how well it turned out. It is awesome. We love it. We smile every time we pull in our driveway. We hope you like it! Next up we have to tackle landscaping in the front yard and decide whether or not we are going to add shutters! Subscribe and follow along the journey!

Wow that is an amazing transformation! I will have to say the videos don't do it as much justice on the final product as it is in person. Looks so amazing!!! It’s the perfect color🙂 I know you mentioned shutters possibly. But have you considered maybe painting the windows black to give some contrast? That might be a good alternative. And also you could add a wooden header above each window to add some warmth to it. (You can look up ideas on Pinterest to see what I’m talking about. I tried to insert a picture but it wouldn’t allow me)

Originally I wanted black windows but I decided I wanted to go for a more monochromatic look (saw a house on Pinterest 😂) I know that’s not for everyone and I definitely love black windows though! Thanks for the great idea!

Looks awesome. What if you trimmed the windows with MDF and painted it black for minimal contrast? Nothing big, maybe 1x6 . Loved the ceiling project.

First off great job. and Chris you're a lucky guy to have a woman want to tackle this project with you! you guys are great!. I'm about to do this same thing! I'm glad you had success with the Avanti painter. Is it still holding up? I'm on the fence on buying this one or the X7 which is a lot more at home depot because it's rebuildable. But on the house it looks great! I'm painting my house a similar color but doing all the trim and the gutters a dark grey to give it some contrast.

We went with Avorio white and absolutely love it! We tested the Richmond white too and it was very similar to the Avorio. Good luck! You will love it!

Thank you! And how exciting! We did not use the Lime wash from Romabio. We used their Masonry Flat paint. They have estimated on their website to help gauge the amount you will need so I would reference that. We have a pretty small house. I can’t remember exactly what we used but they can in 4gallon containers that you dilute some, and I want to say we used about 2 1/2 of those!

@@chris_laura in a few years I’ll start to crack and peel. it’s not recommended to paint exterior walls.. interior walls are fine since they’re not exposed to the elements..
