These NPCs will still be around carrying on their daily lives right after the victory feast in 5.1(which happened right after the war). They only disappear after the final cutscene at the outpost.

That's not true, I know Hunza and Vichama are really as those were the two I did check on... If you inwell with the Yumkasaur you'll get an extra dialog from Katari talking about Hunza. Plus you do literally see Vichama's goggles next to flowers where he stood. As for the other NPC's (other than Chuychu) I can't say as they could have just been relocated

Much rather you gone for that Shadow Moses Island theme in Metal Gear Solid 1 and 4 when you return there. 1:16 You got that one backwards You missed a few of the NPCs that departed after the Abyss Onslaught. In Children of Echoes there is a minor who was working with an Akademia Researcher who was experimenting with upgraded drill bits. There is Inna at the Saurian rest spot who mentions a little Saurian called Moo who made friends with a Melusine even though Moo is rather freaked out at seeing her. There are also two guys who were chatting while enjoying Tatacos at the dining hall with the name that escapes me.

The two guys are Kwame and Purum. Also, Akeor (the miner), for now, is just not at his usual location next to Tahmures in the Children of Echoes. He has not been confirmed to have died. Same can be said for Yagbeu (he might have return back to Flower-Feather Clan, for all we know). Tairona, the People of the Springs girl patrolling the pier, is now doing her patrol by the cave that held all free 5* artifacts you can unlock with the Azure Obsidian Ring. The ones who have been confirmed have either been listed at the memorial (Wayta, Batz, Hunza, Tlilhua, Vichama, and Chuychu) or were mentioned by Coyopa and Coa near the Speaker's Chamber (Inna, Ecwenzu, Nzinga, Vilca, Kwame, and Purum).
