Wendy Perryman awe thank you! I have so much hair...fine but lots of it. I do use a round brush to lift at the roots when I dry my hair straight, then I like to use a hot tool like a curling iron or hot rollers just for a few minutes to give my hair bounce. I did hair for 30 years & owned an agency that represented hair and makeup artists for video, film and print. Doing hair and makeup on celebrities was my passion. Now I just do my own hair! Ha!

This video showed a lower face and neck lift. However about 5 years prior I did have a browlift. I didn’t experience any hair loss but I was a hard recovery. I had lots of issues with the anesthesia that made complications post surgery. Again, I was very pleased with those results.

Your results are amazing! It must be great to wake up and feel good about yourself. . The changes when we age can be unwanted, esp if you don't age so well with jowls, sagging skin etc (which is me.. Looks like my lower face has given up already and I'm only early 40s!), to turn back the clock a little would be amazing. My husband isn't supportive of this for me at all, he says it's just vanity, not sure he realises how depressing it is when your face looks way older than you feel. Hopefully you had someone who supported you :)

It's hard not to have the support of your loved ones. I had to keep mine a secret from everyone. Why is "vanity" such a bad thing? As long as that's not all you're about, there's nothing wrong with wanting to restore and refresh your face. I bet yoyr husband does maintenance on his car!

Hi! My surgeon has since retired. His name was Dr Michael Whetstone. It’s been a few years but I think the cost was between $17k-$22k USD. If you watch my other videos, I document the healing and bruising. I would say I felt pretty good at the 3 week mark, best at the 3 month mark, and could see final results at about a year. I am very pleased.

It was called a SMAS face and neck lift. I have scars under my chin and around by ears and on lower back of head. It’s been several years now. Results still look good even with significant weight gain and loss…again. Ha!

Good luck with your procedure! I didn’t have lower eyelid surgery but have used filler options in the tear trough area that helped. Only special ophthalmologist perform this filler. I’m still happy after all these years and even with some weight gain it still has held nicely. All my best for you to have a speedy recovery!

It felt numb for a long time while the nerves came back. My throat tho felt like I had on a tight turtle neck but only if I thought about it. It took a while till I could turn to from side to side…maybe a week or two.

I am 47 years old. I had done several rounds of IVF. The medication side effects causes the elasticity of the skin to deplete. I had lots of sagging skin around my neck and jawline. I’m also a firm believer to do procedures sooner than later. It prevents so much being done and drastically changing one’s appearance. I didn’t want to look “done” I wanted to look like me but refreshed.

I look ok but don't understand the endless fillers etc.; I would have a minor face lift and also upper eyelids and have done with it. You look BEAUTIFUL, before and after but I get it. You are incorrect on the differences between the facelifts...an SMAS is superficial and deep plane is just that, involves the underlying muscles...."The deep plane facelift reduces the appearance of an aging face and neck. It removes excess skin but also tightens and reshapes the underlying musculature" "The SMAS facelift is a superficial facelift. Surgeons developed this technique as a less invasive alternative to traditional facelift surgery. It shows significant improvements aesthetically, giving more natural results"

Thanks for your comment. I had to look up the differences between the two. So from what I read…deep plane moves in one unit where as SMAS moves it in two units (skin being separate from the muscles). Also SMAS can be multi directional where as deep plane is one direction. I’m sure there are benefits using these various techniques that doctors can best to advise as to which one would benefit the patient the most. It is amazing all the new ways to lift the face that are developed or in development. Can’t wait to see what will happen in the future!

Tripti Gena Hi! I had issues at your same age with my forehead and sagging skin. I did a brow lift and took the excess skin from my eyelids in a separate procedure when I was 28 and at 35 years old. The brow lift was the hardest surgery to date to recover from. But, the results were wonderful. The eyelids was hands down the easiest procedure to date (I felt like I could’ve gone shopping that afternoon if it hadn’t been for swelling and bruising). Make sure you research all doctors and do multiple consultations. Ask people you know who they have gone to. Good luck!
